    I have a 1964 stupid CJ five I got from a friend quite a few years ago it's been in my garage for like forever it has a Kayline top on it and I don't know how to assemble the hardware that the ribs mount to
    anyone out there help me with that

    Kayline tops was sold to STC some time ago. BUT...Best Top might be able to help you. @Willy . They still make and sell tops for that Jeep. Good luck

    IMO, most of the CJ 5 soft tops have very similar hardware. Bestop is basically the only manufacturer still providing these for old Jeeps. They will sell you individual pieces of hardware. Here are the instructions for their Super Top:

    I have their TigerTop on my 3B and it has worked reasonably well but I did have to modify a few things for my application. I had a Kayline on it originally back in the 70's and actually liked that top better, especially the doors. I don't think the new incarnation of Kayline makes anything for CJ's but haven't looked into it. Not much of a market left there.
