    Should Phone be pairing to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Car off? What if my car is connecting this way?

    2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2wd 5.7 Hemi
    No key turned on. It’s a 2011 but I want to say I’m in house and it’s picking up with car turned off. I’m going to have to test. If it is doing this - I think it would indicate a voltage drain and might be related to my short. I’m just trying to track and analyze my issues

    If the activity you state is truly happening than there would be detectable parasitic power activity with key off.

    I tested it. I don’t see it happening. When I didn’t have the car I thought I remembered it doing that but now I have the car back. I think what I am remember is me in the house and then my wife outside starting up the car and my phone connecting that way.
