yes, they are all shelter cats and Hannah is the oldest, she is 16 and in failing health. Emma is right at 10 and Simba is 12. They get along great with Emma being the diva. They are good company and are really no trouble at all. Hannah runs the show tho.

I lost my Hannah back in November. She died in the same spot as in the pic. She was laying right next to me and just drifted away. I was beside myself at first but realized the peaceful manner in which she passed and that gave comfort. If there was a cat hall of fame, she'd be in it. RIP Hannah girl.

I don't have either a cat or dog. But had dogs as a kid growing up. Gave me a lot of great memories. Dated a girl a few years ago that had 3 cats also. AND THEY WERE A BLAST. I realized then, cats are much started than dogs. Dogs do what you teach them. Cats look at you and say, you want me to do what? I don't think so. I'm not a dog. Lol.

Sorry for your loss. I lost 2 dogs as a kid. Any pets ARE members of the family and best friends. And your pain is the same. It may be a different type of pain. But it is still pain.

Curious. Did your other 2 cats notice some one was missing?

When we got Hannah from the shelter back in early 2004, we already had one other cat (Claire). We still have that one and she wandered around the house crying for a couple weeks afterwards so, she knew. She's pretty old herself so she's probably not far behind Hannah. The other 2 cats didn't seem affected but who knows.
