I bought a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited ... it has a check engine light on. The guy at Auto Zone said my engine was running too cold. Really? I don't know what to do with this. I was told I could still drive it with no problems. My jeep seems to be running fine. I looked on youtube to reset the light but, had no luck.

Did they tell you the code for the light?

No worries, the software for this forum is relatively new, so you're not the only one learning it

When you have a chance, get the code read again and report back with which code it is. That will help better diagnose the issue and figure out the proper fix without throwing money at potential problems

When all else fails you can reset the error lights by disconnecting your battery for about 30 minutes or so.
Consider replacing your coolant temp sensor. It may simply be malfunctioning.

P0128 was the code. Auto Zone said my antifreeze looked low. So, I bought some Mopar ( per my owners manual ) and put it in today. I hope I did the right thing. Thanks for your suggestions. If the light comes on again I'll look into the sensor.
They reset the light today. So, I'll cross my fingers and hope it stays off.

Southernbelle, I had this same issue with my 2012 JKU, and a lot of the time it could be low coolant. I also changed my thermostat, just to be on the safe side.
