CJ7 Won't start

    Hi i have a 1983 cj7 with the 258 the jeep was acting normal till about a month ago when it will not start but it will crank.So we checked for spark it has spark it getting fuel and its getting air we put in a new ecu but it still will not start we even tried starting fluid and it would not start even with that.Any ideas with what is wrong we got it to run but it ended up stalling out and not turning back over but still cranking.

    A jeep shop might be able to hook up to the diagnostic port

    We took it to a shop the guy said he couldn’t do much it was a ranch vehicle for most of its life out on our hunt camp and anytime it broke in the 40
    Years it was ranch wired so the guy didn’t know where to start
