    Hello everyone.
Looking to buy weather stripping for the full steel doors on my 1991 wrangler.
The trouble is my weather stripping is glue on. All the stuff I order is held on with pins.
No holes are drilled in the door for the pins. VIN says it was made in Canada. Winter is
coming on and would like to replace it. Anyone else run into this problem and what was your solution?
    Thanks in advance.
    Danny

Welcome! If you can't get the right weather stripping can you cut off the pins and use some 3M double-sided tape?

Are you sure you don't have any holes? Mine was also glued on and was a real pain to get off. Once I got it off, the holes were there under the rubber and glue. I used a razor blade to cut most of mine off and then a wire wheel to take off the remaining rubber and glue. Since I was painting my doors, I didn't have to worry about ruining the paint. Based on my experience you won't be able to get the old off without ruining the paint. Don't sweat it too much, just be careful and touch it up when you're done. The new weather strip will cover most of it up anyway. Any good automotive paint store can mix up some paint to match your Jeep and put in a rattle can for you.

No worries. Never know if the OP will post if the issue was fixed or not.
