    how do I remove the engine silencing cover under the hood??

    I am told (that's another way of saying I really don't know) that the cover on your engine comes off just like on the Wranglers. They are held on by posts with a little ball on the end that fits into a rubber grommet to hold it down. Lift straight up....on my Wrangler it actually takes a little effort to pop it off. Good luck...cough.... lol
