I bought a used jk unlimited a couple of months ago.
While going thru my Jeep I opened the air cleaner box to replace the filter element.i didn't notice right away but I knocked the hose loose that runs to my valve cover. The hose rubbed on the fan belt and wore a spot thin,I just plugged it back in and forgot it till today.
Well on my way home from work my engine light came on,everything looked fine so I drove up to the auto parts store to have my code read.
Tech said it was a " evaporative system air leak" and then I remembered the time my hose rubbed the fan belt and pulled it off, wrapped some electrical tape around it,reset my code and wouldn't you know it,that's all my problem was.....

Nice! May want to consider replacing that hose soon though. Tape doesn't last long.
