Hello everyone! I've had soft top TJS for about 24 years now and just got a new to me LJ. I was researching reviews on the Fastback style soft top and I seen someone saying that they are loud when the windows are down. I know soft tops arn't whisper quiet, but I do not want to get noisier. I do mostly windows down driving, and on interstate too. anyone experience a noisier than normal softtop from the Fastback style top? Don't want to spend the bucks and go through the set up if they are way loud. t
    Thank you for any feedback

Welcome to the forum @cormorant tail kite . No...they are not noisier.
I had a stock soft top on my 16 JK. And when I switched to a Quadratec Adventure Top S. A fastback style. I did not notice any difference. All soft tops are loud with the windows open. To cut down some of the noise. Open up your back window. It does help some what.

I agree with JKbob 25, I've noticed when I open the back window in my Jeep the noise has decreased. I would definitely give it a try.
