Welcome! Thats too bad. Can you post the brand or model# so the rest of the forum can avoid this bumper? Based on the pics the bumper has some rust developing.

 

This bumper is a barricade trailforce sold by extreme terrain. It started rusting the second week I owned it.

Wow! That sucks man. Post some reviews of your experienace on their website. Let everyone else know that they sell a crappy product and do not stand behind it.

 

Bent bumper, no good. I'm new to this forum thing and dont own a Jeep, (please dont hate me) but I am a motorhead and a fabricator. I work for a company in Minnesota that manufactures U-weld it bumper kits for Jeep JKs. These things are tough, all the framework is 1/4" plate and the "skin" is 3/16. We have a few different models for front and rear. Not trying to pitch a sale on my first post but poor quality products bug me.

 

Thanks clutch dog but I spent all day sanding and finishing the bumper with bed liner spray. I hammered the bent top flat again and reinforced the under side with 2"×2" x1/4" angle from end to end. Remounting it tomorrow. Can't really afford a new one just now.

 

Holy CRAP. Sorry, excuse the pun. But holy CRAP. And it started rusting after 2 weeks. Holy CRAP.
I'm not in the market for a new bumper at this time. But I have made a mental note.

Looked good on their site. Price was right but wow what junk. Then not to care about their own products. I bought a body armor rear bumper with tire carrier. That one is great. The word armor in their name describes their product

 

Hi Bob where on Jersey shore? Originally from Jersey 25 years ago.

 

Any company that doesn't back their products, and for the most part, blows you off. Deserves a review stating how they treated a customer. I will always pay an extra couple bucks on a company that I know will provide me good customer service. Unfortunately in most cases. We don't find that out until we buy from them. So this is your chance to warn out potential customers. Holy CRAP!!!

Originally woodstown 2 miles from the delaware memorial bridge. I hope people use this as a warning. I've filed a complaint with the better business bureau also.
