I recently purchased my first Jeep, a Gladiator. Being a newbie, I am wondering if the MOPAR accessories and customization options are worth the price. I have a sport version so not a lot of frills. Also it’s a soft top which I have grown to love. I am considering a lift, larger wheels and tires, rock rails (possibly with steps because I’m short), open air doors, and a bed cover. Also I like the idea of blacked out lights, windows and wheels. Which accessories should I go to first and should I look for MOPAR parts or use other after market brands. Any general advice is also welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Welcome @Westd35 ...congrats on the JT Sport. Check out a sample of websites like quadratec.com or northridge 4x4. Plenty of accessories and more to come. Mopar accessories are good but tend to be spendy so your jeep bucks usually go further at competitive sites. Keep us posted on your build. Post some pics of your Gladiator!

Granted a alot of your wish list is superficial but the lift, lighting have me thinking KISS, esp if there is a warranty to consider. Mopar parts are quality also they will preserve the warranty, you won't hear the 'modification' exclusion BS so look at the lift kits and lighting from dealer.

It’s got about 3k miles on it so there is a lot of warranty left. Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum @Westd35.
I believe your our first JT owner. So we can learn from you, as I will. As mentioned. MOPAR parts can be pricey, but spot on quality. There are numerous vendors slowly but surely coming out with aftermarket upgrades.
Post up a few pics. We like Jeep Porn.

After the mopar 2in lift i put BF goodwrench mud terrain 33s on. I am thinking about rock rails and a steel bumper now. Maybe some LEDs also. What new accessories has anyone already experienced? I am thinking about going aftermarket (not mopar) on the lights and bumper. Last- i plan on getting some open air doors for the summer. Any ideas or advice is 100% welcome. Thanks in advance.

Like my Baja Design Squadron Pro, Rigid LED lights. Check out aftermarket rock rails as some offer that protection plus a step (Acer/Barricade).

As others have said mopar is good but pricey. So depends on how much bang for your buck you want. Aftermarket parts still offer quality and will probably save you money so you can complete your build(lies, a jeepers build is never complete hahaha) faster.

Mopar accessories for the Jeep are usually top notch but check out the new offerings from Metal Cloak website. They just released a number of parts and DIY install videos
