I have removed the exploded transfer case -- the wiring harness is shredded. Can anyone tell me what the harness is called and where is the best place to find it? Also, what could cause a transfer case to come apart like that? It made a bad noise, followed by violent shuddering, then came apart where the drive shaft to front wheels connects.

So the name of that wiring harness is Underhood Firewall Fusebox Relay Wiring Harness? That goes all the way back to the transfer case and actually back to rear axel?

Follow it as far back as possible, you might be able to repair it
