Newbie to Jeep and forum. Hello from Michigan.

Just bought a 2017 Cherokee Limited with 2.4 engine in Black.
How do you adjust the headlights? They are aimed too high.

Welcome! There should be a Torx T15 sized bolt on the bottom of the headlight when viewed from the front. IIRC. turning it to the right will lower it.

    Thanks Chris,
Could not find a torx so I kept searching and found a funnel shaped black plastic housing with a hex shape down in the funnel, one on each side. A 6mm hex key seemed to fit so I tried turning and low and behold it moves the light beam up and down.
    Thanks

Hi... I am testing out a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude on a 48hr extended "test drive". When I drove it last night, I could barely see anything more than 20ft in front of me with the low beams on! Honestly, I could see better distance ahead of me with the DRLs!!! It seems as if the headlights are aimed way too low. Can anyone tell me how I adjust these headlights? I don't need a youtube video of it or anything, but maybe just a picture showing what screw to turn to raise/lower the headlights. Thanks!

Probably should take the Jeep back and get the headlights checked out at the shop. There should be a set of adjustment screws/bolt on the back of the headlight assembly. Best to aim the headlights against a wall on level ground about 25 ft away. You should be able to test your head lights against this same wall before making any adjustments to confirm your suspicions.

Make sure the 48hr test drive Jeep has not been in an accident or have some other kind of defect.
