Hey all figured I would start a spot where we could bs and make plans. I have a 2015 Sahara JKU, it is my first Jeep and I absolutely love it. It is surprising what they can do even in stock condition.

What did you have before the Sahara?

I had a Tacoma access cab. It developed an engine noise at about 25k and they "couldn't hear it or duplicate it" so I traded it in with about 65k.

I want to say it was about 70 bucks on Amazon. I liked that it was small and contained. I want to keep the stock look and not have an issue with the doors and top being off

I finished up the install of the amp. What a difference with the stock head unit. I can hear on the highway with top down and doors off now.

Did you hook it up to the sub, or all the speakers?

I used it for all the speakers, I don't have a sub yet. I had replaced the factory 6.5s with Infinity 2ohm speakers front and rear. I will look into what I want to do with the top of dash speakers after I get my cb installed, hopefully this week.

I thought your jeep came with a sub woofer in the cargo area. In the floor.

Made a bracket this afternoon to mount my cb above the rear view mirror out of scrap from work.

I based it off of some Strike Force Zebra pics online

I ran the cb ant from the spare tire mount along the pass side floor and an 18' cable only made it to the frt pass kick panel. After more looking online I ran it up and across the roll bars and it landed perfectly at the rear view mirror. 4' Wilson mounted with a Teraflex bracket. I just need to power it all and check the swr readings.

I went out offroading yesterday with a bunch of Tacomas and had a blast. Very impressed with the Jeep (being stock) and what she could do. Sorry no action shots due to being in front of group, there was a total of 13 (huge group) of us. Now I have to look into wheels just for woods and winter plus some sliders. I will try to reuse my homemade aluminum flatbelly skid from my Tacoma. Time to measure and cut some aluminum

I just picked up a set (5) of wheels and tires takeoff with less than 1500 miles on them for less than 4 tires. The plan is to run mine out and use the new set for summer and mine for winter and woods. I couldn't pass on the deal even though it puts my lift out of the question for awhile longer cause I don't think the stock tire size will look right with a 2" lift.
