Just curious if anyone knows where to go through the firewall so I can run some power cords to my battery for cb radio and amp.

Passenger side, pop the end of the dash off.
There will be a small hole that has spray foam in it.
Use a length of wire (like a hanger) and poke through it and it will come out just inside the front fender within easy reach of the batter.
I have a picture but it will be a bit before I can post it.

@jeepavalanche ....there is a similar foam filled hole on the driver-side that can be used for other future upgrades.

Thank you. I need to get some 6 gauge power and ground wires through there for my linear and smaller power/ground for the citizens band radio. This is a great point of entry.

I tried that but it came on the outside of the firewall

Those foam-filled holes are just one-type of pass-thru from interior to exterior. To cross over into the engine area just use some abrasion resistent wire covers. For AT models just below the MC is a grommet that can be used. Above the MC is another grommet wires can pass-thru although a bit trickier with bends.

It's still under the hood so it's protected and not seen. There is a wire loom right there to cleanly run the wires along to the battery.

True, it can be done that way. Thats what i did for the citizens band radio. The wires for the linear are going to be 6 gauge power and ground so i will have to go through firewall
