    2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited
    My shifter became very loose recently. I can shift out of neural without pushing the button on the side of the shift. There is a lot of give also and it doesn't really lock into gear like before. Are there any quick fixes or does it sound like it needs replaced completely? Any advice is appreciated, thank group!!

    Welcome! You should be able to shift out of neutral without pushing the button. You should have to push the button to go into revers though.
