    Hello All,

First off I feel I am home. Reading some of the articles and posts makes me very happy.

Second, I am trying to mount a rear tire carrier to my liftgate. Orginally my idea was to use an old Jeep Liberty's rear tire mount but, several much smarter people told me that this is a very bad idea, as the sheetmetal cannot handle it.

Even if you weld reinforcements this will not work. Being that I don't know how to weld, that is out of the question.

After some investigation, I fould this Jeep 97 Grand Cherokee Limited Swing Out Spare Wheel Carrier incl. Brackets | eBay

However, I couldn't find one in the states. Does anyone had a suggestion of one that I can get, that would be around $100 or so without havig to remove the bummer cover? Heck, if anyone has one I would buy it but, I couldn't find one that I could afford.

And suggestions. And thank you All.
