Just bought my first Jeep, 1987 Wrangler YJ on great shape.

I need to replace upper radiator hose BUT could someone tell me what the other hose is next to it on the thermostat housing as that needs to be replaced as well.

Cannot find diagram anywhere that tells what it is.

    Thanks in advance

    MARK

That particular hose is about impossible to locate in it's pre-formed OEM version. Most parts houses will just sell you a length of hose to replace it. That is why there is no part number in this diagram for that hose.

    Thank you so much.

Oddly enough, I replaced the upper radiator hose and the piece that I cut off had a small bend in it. I slipped that over the straight hose and it was enough of a curve to open it up and let the water flow through.
