My jeep has an excessively noisy fuel pump. I've replaced the isolators on top of the fuel tank, fuel pump and filter, and the regulator that drops it from 12v down to 9v. Still super noisy. I'm at a loss on how to quiet it. Also, my break lights are out. I've replaced bulbs, fuses, and break switch. Can't find any shorts in any of the wiring either. Suggestions with similar experiences would be appreciated!

check your ground wire at rear for lights ? my best guess. .fuel pump unsure could also be the ground issue?? good luck

Everything tests fine it sucks I have had jeep mechanics look at it and they don't know either. Do you think replacing the fuse box would work?

If both your brake lights will not work it may be the switch associated with the brake pedal.

I have now replaced the switch again and still nothing.. I'm left with thinking I need to just replace the whole assembly..

Adding extra ground? How would I do that? I'm not much of a mechanic but if you could tell me how I can do it
