Looking for the best app, site, or device for showing off road trails and areas. I use forest service maps now (usually screen shot where I am going and use the map on my phone)...What do you use?

    Thanks

I would suggest a local map store close to where your trail is. On my side of the world, I have used this guy:https://www.sidekickoffroad.com/. But these are limited to a few of the more hardcore trails. This guy is a hardcore Jeeper who got into the map business. National Geographic is a good choice, it really depends on what you are looking for. I have got a lot of help using GoogleEarth to get the lay of the land and go from there.

You might look at Gaia GPS as well.
You can log into their website and create a route and such on a desktop/laptop computer and then sync it to your phone/tablet.

Thanks, was actually gonna look for something similar soon. Both of these say in-app purchases but have any of you had to purchase anything to use these apps?
