Not sure where to post this. I saw this when I was at Jeeptoberfest. I met the people who built this, nice people. Little on the expensive side but has advantages. Here is the site -- https://www.topliftpros.com

Nice innovative product! Wish the price was closer to $500 as the current price plus shipping is pretty steep. The lift mechanism reminds me of the pneumatic lift system used for portable basketball rims.

I really like their system. Very innovative. If I had a hardtop. I would consider it. But the cost. Just doesn't convince me to buy one. I'd go with a hoist system. I have a garage. Most don't have that option. But this is an awesome option for those that don't. I like it. Nice system.

I'm wondering whether this could be modified to perform a similar task. Might be a nice winter project. If the project flops it will still hoist an engine
