Hey everyone. I'm in CNY, and summer is almost over and I haven't taken one damn thing off, and I'm not happy about it. The weather says 20% chance of rain the next 5 days. Do I just go for it, and say f*** it, and risk water damage, or play it safe and let the summer slip away?

LMAO. I'm in Ocean County NJ. I feel the same way. If it's 20% chance of rain. I put the top down. If it's. 50%, I take the windows off. If it's 100%, which has been rare. I go naked. Doors off, top down. But, I did get caught off my game.

Funny story. Top down. I knew weather was questionable. Took the chance. Went to a store, as I'm walking in, I knew I had to make it quick.

Driving home, I see the rain line. CRAP. I figured as long as I kept moving, I was good. I rolled up the window. Yeah, really. Duh. Homer Simpson move. Lol.. So I hit a stop light. I see a JKU turning left. Naked....a little girl in the back seat waves. I wave back and throw my arms up in like a, what ever. She says something to the driver, he turned and looks at me, and they both start laughing. As they drive by. I see they are absolutely soaked. Drowned rats. They got caught just as the T-storm hit I assume, at the light. Lol. Laughed my ass off as they were. You had to be there.

But yes. It's been a really f'ed up summer going naked. Just take my chances. Figure I got plugs in the tub. It's all good. May summer never end. Keep on jeepin.

Hey jkbob! Thanks for the reply. That was my first post ever, lol. Anyway, I went fully naked this morning! Damn the elements! It's my summer, my jeep, and I'll do what I want, LMAO! Btw, this is my first wrangler, so I'm kind of a newbie, so I never heard that term "naked". Love it! Gonna shower and be on my way...maybe I'll skip the shower...

Take it off and enjoy! Check out my old YJ :facepalm:look at all that freedom and enjoyment while driving it as a DD in the summer. Any sudden rain storms just grab a towel and wipe off the vinyl seats. I really lost my mind trading her in. But I'm on the prowl for a good TJ or YJ. That can happen in the JK one day when the new car smell goes away. With all the sensitive electronics in the JK I won't be able to ignore rain as much on the dash even with the drain holes and carpeting removed. Maybe a sunshade would minimize rain on the dash. Pollen is probably the next concern followed by geese bombs so wipeable seat covers will be needed.

So... for four long golden days, the warm sun sparkling off of Penny's Copper Brown skin, and for three short indigo nights, the gleaming moon shone upon her regal hull, as we reveled in the zephyr wind dancing across our skin, and blowing through our hair...driving. Driving and driving, to and fro, but for the sheer joy of the passage of the road, no real destination in sight, only the horizon and the surrounding flora and fauna. Tonight alas, we'll put Penny's headdress and vestments upon her once again, and wait breathlessly for the next gift of azure skies, and moonlit nights.

We have a poet amongst us :) Much better entertainment than some of the other members here that insist on posting drain bamageing videos.

Can I assume you have a copper brown rig you call Penny?

How about a pic or 2. We're simple here. We like pics. Lol

Get off your meds. And go back and read his poem. Lollll.
Tonightalas, we'll put Penny's headdress and vestments upon her once again, and wait breathlessly.

That's the best I could do coping and pasting with my piece of crap tablet. He was running naked. And he put her headdress upon her again. Lollll.

Sorry Sean. Unfortunately, and not your fault. Several members are NOT taking their Meds. And decided to use your thread to bust my balls. Lol. It's all good. Lollll. And they caught me on a bad night. Lol. Where's my Meds. Lol.:rofl:
