just had my trans rebuilt (ax5) 5 speed, 2.5L 4cyl. new synchros, new seals etc. also new clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, flywheel resurfaced. also new master cylinder and slave cylinder. shifts much better except downshift into 3rd from 4th. it "catch's" or feels a little rough. my mechanic ran out of talent, said he thinks it my need more air out of master cylinder, but he can't get it. help please. I have heard the ax5 is not best trans out there. any thoughts appreciated

took my jeep to the local manual trans guru. he said it felt like the 3rd gear syncro needed a few more miles to break in. also suggested I try BG productS syncro shift 11(2) . he has had excellent luck with it. I ordered some today. will report back as soon as I get that in the tranny.
