noise when i start, usually. sometime its silent on startup?
    50 lb oil pressure good.
    temp is good.
    runs great.

Lifter noise is normal. Ive never been a fan of Seafoam except as a last resort. It can break free larger chunks of crap that can do more damage in the engine.

So, I've gone 70 miles, no change in noise, oil is still clean.
    looks likes a wasted experiment!!

Trial and error 2jeeps. It's all good.
If I remember correctly. My 00 XJ had lifter noise at start up. But seemed to get better as it warmed up. Same case with you? You using synthetic oil? Just a couple thoughts that come to mind.

it gets quieter and one day it was silent on startup!, then noise started. dont know for sure, some say its piston slap?
no synth in the jeep. some guy says rotella is good for theses engines and i use t4 15/40.
i used synth in my h3 since new, usually change b4 the computer says to.
i figure oil is the best thing you can do for a car, early and often!

I agree. Early as you can. And always. In another thread. I cooked my XJs motor. Had a Jasper remaned installed. After the break in oil. I used synthetic. That was around 45k on the odometer. After.. 199k on it. Never an issue. Sure, the usual went. Starter after 190k. AC Compressor bushings around the same time. Oil. Regular or Syth. Use what manufacture recommends. I'm sure you know that. Jeep sounds like it's all good.
