Any particular location you are wanting to protect? Or are you looking for full protection. Also, what kinda protection are you looking for? Dirt? Mud? Rocks? IED's?

There are so many types, brands, coverage areas. Where to begin as Chris4x4 basically stated.

Unfortunately. Jeeps aren't VW bugs where they have one huge skip plate. :)

I have one covering my tank, and transfer case. I let my incredible off roading skillz protect my other in protected parts.........and by "Skillz".....I mean I pretty much cross my fingers and hope I don't puncture anything important.

Funny. I was thinking the same thing. Well, not my skillz. Lol. Oil pan, Trans case, gas tank, that could be explosive, sorry. And muffler. Them f'ers can be expensive. The rest are just a waste on money, weight, and gas mileage.

Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
Full armor and mud don't go well together. Too much weight, and you will never get it clean. You are pretty well protected already.

No muffler, cut that back to dump pre axle so you can get it up higher.

On the JKs the oil pan, trans and evap canister are too exposed for my liking. Prefer some protection when skinny dipping in dark sticky stuff with unknown unseen adventure ending protrusions. Plans before installation are to drill a few holes to help release the mud, snow or debris that will collect.
**On my last day at the all boy high school the professor said it always looks better than it is so look before you jump in and always wear protection...LOL

So....and I tread lightly here. Are those adventure ending protrusions the reason you left the all boys high school?. Gotta say. I wouldn't be skinney dipping in those waters either.

I like to think I'm pretty picky which hole I stick my jeep in. The professor was quite candid about this important life decision when your ready to enter the first hole you encounter.

Thanks Billy1234! Too many work issues or home renovation projects that leaves minimal jeep time :( Lot of good jeepers here like yourself that are winnable winners here that would appreciate the modpod minis too!
