    Hey Jeep Peeps!

For the past 2+ years I have been patent pending on new kind of Jeep Top. And have been working like crazy to get it to the point where I can share it the Jeep Community. I wanted to post this on a Jeep Forum to get some feedback, answer any questions, and let you know there will be a crowdfunding campaign coming up at the beginning of July. If we can get the community behind Trac-Top, it should be available by next Spring.

If you are interested go the website and sign up for the newsletter and you will be the first to be notified when the campaign is launched. You will have a chance to pre-order at up to 40% off plus get some other perks.

That is pretty cool. Is it supposed to be installed with the hard top in place of the 2 front panels?

Thanks OFFGRID, not quite. This is suppose to give the appearance of riding topless while giving you the protection from all the elements. So it would replace a hardtop or soft top and bolt on using all existing mounts and clamps.

Thanks Chris4x4! I'm trying to keep it as low as possible since there are so many Jeep products that are very expensive. My goal is $450-$500, all depending on the cost of manufacturing.

At $75 I would purchase a Safari top, but if there was a way that you could change the design a little to replace the freedom panels and still have that moonroof effect, I think you would have an even easier product to sell. I really like your idea though, and it is awesome that you have the forethought for eventing new products.

    Offgrid,

Thanks for the feedback. That was a thought in the design process but there is products out there that replace the freedom panels. We also wanted to get as much sun as possible via the Trac-Top. The only way to do that is go all the way back to the sound bar. But who knows, that could be a feature in the future.
