Ok this will be hard to explain. My 94 wrangler 4.0 Manual transmission l bought this thing needinga clutch and it came with it. It has a new transfer case already installed. After peacing this back together I take it for a ride. It runs great clutch works perfect. But the transfer case which is already put in by the previous owner only shits twice. It's 4 high and neutral. After looking at you tube videos it seems to be upside down. I take the linkage off . So with a pair of pliers I shift it and it clicks 4 times.now comes the bafling part. The only way I can seem to make this work is that the piece of steel with the hole that the linkage goes to has to be so far back that it won't fit. Is there anyone out there can help me figure this out.
