I’m stuck. Been working on this Jeep for a while now. It only throws two codes U110A (steering control module) and U0002. (Control Module). But I’m having so many other issues.
    1.A/C blower cuts out
    2 radio cuts out
    3 windows stop working
    4 won’t start
5 gear indicators all light up
6 clicking noise from trans tunnel area
    7 keyless entry doesn’t work
    8 alarm goes off
9 traction control light comes on
    10 Security light comes on
    11 Tpms light comes on
12 and last but not least it will not shift out of the current gear.

these things only happen intermittently and sometimes won’t happen for days. I’ve replaced the TIPM and it was better for about a month but still happened. And when the Jeep sits for a while sometimes it’s fine after 5 minutes and other times it won’t start for hours. Today it’s been 8 hours. Replaced the starter relays, ignition module. The wiring harness (can bus) looks ok. Don’t see any obvious signs of wear or shorting out. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you get tose code descriptions? fire them.

    My first thoughts -
    >> What did you do - is jeep modified, added ANYTHING, Anything to add?
History - purchased from seller in Louisanna? Accident ?
    >> IIRC the TIPM has to be configured - yes it was done?
    Did you check for TSB's?

Nothing has been changed from stock other than a more aggressive tire stock size. Purchased 3 years ago from a dealership in Missouri. No accidents. Car was registered in Missouri since purchased new. Tipm was configured.

seeing communication codes- a scanner will be needed.
I looked fr TSB's for those codes - nothing I could see as related.

The differance between your description of code meaning and jeeps might have you changing direction of diagnostics.

Do you have trouble trees for those codes?

Why are you working this - not exactly a laymans type repair.

Do you have a SCANNER - not a code reader? Something that wil communicate with the bus and the modules?

Let me do a quick search for 2012 wrangler unlimited - (NOT a rubicon?) and those codes, no other codes is there?

I agree with Awrench. If you only have a code reader and not a scanner, it'll be almost impossible to isolate the problem. PCM/TCM, SCCM wiring harness connectors, ground faults, bad modules. You'll spend weeks taking stuff apart with the unlikely possibility that you'll find something obvious.
Only simple things you can do are to check battery voltage, terminals all grounding points and check all of your fuses. If it all looks good, you'll probably have to take it to someone to have it scanned.

Thanks for the help guys. I found my local shop has the Chrysler tool to make the diagnosis. He’s a couple days behind but I will let you all know the outcome. His first initial impression was PCM was shot and would probably need replaced. But I’ll let you know

Sorry I could NOT copy the entire trouble tree, but the shop will have it - something for you to study... let me know the progress, diagnoisis etc.
