Was 4 speed tranny an option on 92 Wrangler?

    1992 4.0 Wrangler
    I bought the Jeep and the previous owner said he had the tranny rebuilt. It shifts great but all I see is reference to 5 speed for 92.

    Looks like a quick search came back with this. 3 or 5 speed.

    Possible that if it's a automatic 4 speed it came from a later year model

    engine swap as well as the entire drivetrain, 35 inch tires, home made swing away tire carrier, warn winch and SPOA.
    Hi, YJ's factory came with 3 or 4 speed automatic transmission or 5 speed manual, no other.
