    Got a question, going to get a wire welder . what's everyones opinion on what is better gas shield or flux core. Need one to work on the anti Christ in my shop.

    3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
    GAS SHIELD ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!! flux core is a massive pain in the ass if you don't have all your settings perfect. When you have gas it allows for a little more room for error if you're not an every day welder. So if you're gonna spend the money buy a quality welder that has a decent duty cycle. Anything 40% or higher duty cycle will be more than enough to work on just about anything in a garage.

    I have a millermatic 211. Love it. Does both flux and mig. Mig is much easier and cleaner. Miller also has one that will do all flux mig stick and tig. You just have to get all of the accessories.
