    Some items I'm considering:
    • Extra jacket
    • Blanket
    • LED flashlight
    • Trail axe
    • Shovel
    • Tarp
    • Recovery gear
    • Overnight bag
    • Sand/salt

Like the Jeep Wave, recovery of vehicles in distress is a noble gesture

Although my interaction with snow is incredibly limited, I keep the following item in my Jeep:

    Extra jacket
    Blanket
    LED flashlight
    Trail axe
    Tarp
    Recovery gear
    Overnight bag
    Tools
    Water

Water is a good one. Our list is similar despite lack of snow

Have both covered. But no extra jacket. I wear a hoodie year round. Not sure what the tarp is for, and the over night bag. Im scared to ask what you guys keep in it. Lolll.

I came across some one a year or so ago stuck in the snow. Cause I didn't have a tow strap. I had to leave him. I felt really bad. I bought a cheap strap the next day. Since upgraded to the RR strap. I would have at least a strap, First Aid kit, flashlight, and a shovel. The rest are really optional depending on where you wheel, drive, and normal weather conditions. Some off-road parks and such require most of what has been posted. If you don't off-road. You really don't need all of it. But, you never know. I recently applied for a beach permit here. And they require most of that, and then some not mentioned here.

Forgot to add First Aid Kit. I keep a pretty well stocked bag under my passenger seat. FWIW, Local Fire Departments in the Metro Phoenix area will inspect and replace expired contents for no charge

I have an old one from volunteering back in 2000. Still has a burn hole from a forest fire I was in.

Im from deep south where the every 10 year snow fall is a light dusting, so im not much of an expert when it comes to prepping for blizzards, but dont you want to have a couple of thick blankets just in case you get stranded?

Hi use to keep a blanket in my XJ. But it was for when I went to the beach. But now that I think about it. Not sure why I don't have one in my JK.
