What Transmission

    2.5” lift 32x11.50x15,cold air intake, Smittybuilt stainless steel Bumpers, rough county pocket flares,Rugged ridge seat covers and floor mats. Conversion LED headlights 20’ LED Light bar hardtop,soft top,bikini top.
    With the Vin number is there a way that I can look up what transmission I have?

    87 Wrangler, kind of...
    5.7 V8 with Whipple Supercharger, TH350 w/B&M Shifter, NP205 TC, Dana 60 front 4.56, GM 14 bolt 10.5 rear 4.56, 4 wheel discs, Bilstein shocks, 6" lift on 37's, Autometer gauges, all led lighting and a few other things.
    Nothing in the vin to tell you what transmission you have. 3 automatics and 5 manual possibilities. Only way I know of is to get the info off the id plate stamped on the transmission.

    Thanks. Ok. I know the dealer can tell me with the vin there were two 5 speed for the 4.0

    2 trans AX15 (Top) and AX5 (Lower) - did the attachment help you fugure it out?
    Let us know maybe a build sheet but I think this will guide you.
