I don't consider myself uber essential but I'm listed as "essential personnel" as DE is beginning their quarantine process to stem the rise in COVID-19 cases. I have been making small purchases of essential items over the past few weeks (not Rock Auto) and was actually looking forward for a few months of home detention.

Enjoy the gif as it really should be "physical distancing" which is what I preach to others in the office to stay out of H.R. Hopefully everyone here is taking this COVID-19 crisis seriously and making sure everyone in our circle of family and friends are safe, social distancing and doing their part in washing hands, eating well and staying healthy.

Last night I checked my small inventory of masks I used for construction and was excited to see they were N95. The shelves for masks in the stores have been empty for a few weeks as well as toiletries so conserve, be safe and pray this crisis ends soon.

Best to stay busy+connected with family and friends and your jeeps.net family

I am considered essential. To where I work anyway.. And we are crazy busy right now. And we have no plans on shutting down any time soon. And since we have no outside foot traffic in the building. And all our employees just travel back and forth to work. And we all are practicing all that is recommended to avoid contracting this stupid ass virus.

To those of you that are quarantined to your home's and that can not work. We are here for you all. We are all in this together. And we prevail and beat this thing. Hang in there.

Im still working at my office, but the Wife is home with the dogs. May work out good, as we are getting some roof work done on our house, so she will be able to supervise.

    Edit:
As for "Activities around the house, my Wife and I are still doing the same things. Walks, bike rides, etc.

I think it’s better now to stay at home and not go out to protect me and my family.

Stay-At-Home order begins today in DE along with neighboring states PA-NJ-NY

IMO it's possible the poor and homeless may become the next big hotspot if not already in major cities and keep this health crisis spiking if something is not done. Drove through downtown Philadelphia yesterday and didn't see any type of social distancing going on in the city from those waiting for the bus to street beggars or people sleeping on the sidewalks etc. The situation looks grim as these groups of people either are in denial, unconcerned or they don't understand the magnitude of the problem. The homeless shelters are crowded and lack any safety precautions to deal with this new crisis beyond feeding them. Most have no healthcare options and many suffer from mental illness, drug/etoh addiction possibly making a bad situation worse.

    Stay safe everybody!

I am still going to work all 40 hrs. The state on NY throwing insain amount of rules @ us for the time being. I do understand dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's tho. That's what I get for working in the health care field :). Now we have to carry a signed letter from our employer in our vehicles to make us exempt from travel restrictions. The scrubs and name badge should give it away but ya know. I am just happy Dunkin is still up and running!! :). Stay safe everyone.

I haven’t worked since Friday 3/13 and company announced yesterday that nothing will happen before the 4/18. I’m lucky they are paying us even though it’s only 32hrs. I averaged 50hr weeks to be able to pay the bills so hurting a little financially but many others I know are getting affected more. Had some of my friends lose jobs already where they work. It’s tough.

Been staying home, our county started stay at home 2 week order a couple days ago but we actually been doing it since 3/13 only going out for groceries.

It’s tough trying to keep kids busy too. My son is almost 7 and my daughter almost 5, and they have a lot of energy to spend. Thank god for our pool but even with that It’s tough on them, my son mostly because we just can’t do pool day everyday. Teachers had a car parade in neighborhood this week before the stay at home order went into effect and as soon as the parade was over my son started crying because he misses his school, his teacher and his friends. Broke my heart seeing him like that because of this.

Also trying to get projects done around the house while at home. So far, fixed portion of fence that was starting to fall apart, painted the fence(we have a lot of fence/corner lot), trimmed 4 trees(still got 1 to go), fixed the AC(this one wasn’t on the project list but happened all of a sudden), installed some shelving, pressure washed the front of house, and cleaned all the bathroom fan vents.

Hoping to install my KC lights finally this week lol.
