Whistling sound at start up ?

    Hey guys, need your expertise and thoughts on something that just started occurring. So let's say I get in the jeep in the morning start it. I immediately hear a whistling sound that comes and goes. Sometimes gets a higher pitch when I accelerate but even in park or at a complete stop it continues for awhile.

    Thoughts on what could be the source of the sound?

    Could be a vacuum leak or carb base might be loose or need a new gasket. Mist spray bottle around the base to locate suspected leak

    Had that issue on my old XJ. Was a vacuum leak. Where exactly is the whistling coming from?

    I'm still not 100% sure where yet, but when I do I'll let you guys know! Hopefully the weather isn't as crazy today and I can take a peak and narrow it down.
