Why is my front dif so hot while towing? I hav transsfer in neutral and shifter in ger. Thanks

    Why is my front differential so hot while towing? Almost too hot to touch, Fluid is full

    Welcome! Any idea what the temp of it is? Do you have an Infrared thermometer?

    With your Tcase in neutral when towing I believe your differential still turns.. Does it get as hot if you were to drive it?

    yep, OFF is right, your diff's still turn when in neutral. I pull mine some times as well but never thought about getting under neath and checking temp on Diff. was there something that happened that made you check the Diff?
