I have 255x75x17 tires on my 2012 Artic edition and want to put a wider tire without putting a lift on it. What do you think?

You can put pretty much any size tire you want on your rig. As long as it's a 17 inch wide tire. You should have no issues, without a lift with 33s. And possibly, 35s. But keep in mind. Your going to have to recalibrate your on board computer for the tire change. Your going to have to change your tranny shifting points.

Welcome to the forum. A bunch of very knowledgeable members here very willing and happy to help. Enjoy...

Wider tire choice will be limited by your OEM wheels. Wheel spacers can give a wider looking track by pushing the tires outward if that's the look your looking for.

The OP might actually want the max size tire without a lift so your response might be the better one.

Maybe...maybe not. Point being. We are all here to help, have fun, learn, bust each other, and post doggie porn pics. Lol. The best forums have the best members. Some are most knowledgeable in certain areas, while others are best in others. That's what makes a great forum. We team up and help. It's all good. And I will never take offense to a post I may have misinformed a member. The way I see it. I was wrong, and I learned what was correct for the question asked in a post. I learned. :gossip:. It's all good.

Welcome to the site! With a set of Spidertrax wheel spacers, I ran a 285/70/17 without any rubbing, and no lift.

My stock tires were 255/70/18 now I run 285/65/18 with 1.25 wheel spacers love the wider stance, bit more aggressive look and smooth ride with BFG AT tires. Also cut my front stock bumper and installed snub ends for a great look.
