Ya might consider taking your Jeep to an auto upholstery shop and see they can do to help. They have all the tools and knowledge.

    Cheers - Jeepjoc

maybe I'll get a new top for Christmas, so all I'll need is some scissors :angrygirl:

Since our two daughters were very young, we've named all our vehicles after a famous aviator or aviatrix, depending on the agreed upon character of that vehicle. However, we departed a bit for the Jeep and named her "Sprocket" after the cartoon dog in Jim Henson's "Fraggle Rock".

Looks like the slider isn't working properly...skipping teeth...You can either ..carefully but with some force pull one side thru then the other..or find place to replace slider...I found a guy that actually fixes zippers at a store that resoles. Shoes and mends cloths..if you have a store like that around you.....usually family owned...

With the new top be sure to keep the zippers lubed and ready for action instead of letting them get crusty and stuck again

no more what about Mary jokes lol.

Ok. Sorry. Couldn't help myself..

The right side looks like it's a mess. I was going to suggest replacing the zipper on the window. But now that I see the photo. Looks like the issue is with the top it's self. I would have to look at mine tomorrow to get a better idea on what you can do. I know there's a convertible top repair company near me. I'm curious if they could replace that entire back zipper. And match it to the window. Any place like that near you?

I do have another idea. I plan on replacing my top with a Trek Top type top. And it have no need for my current top. I'll get back to ya on that. You have a JK right...not a JKU?

Front/Rear bumpers, 10k Smittybilt Winch, Bussman Auxiliary Power Panel, Joying Android Stereo, Cibie H4 Headlight Upgrade, 50” Lightbar. Planning: 2.5” TeraflexLift, 35” KO2’s, Regear from 3.21 to 4.56’s
The trek top is really nice. Fits great and is pretty easy to install.

Have you thought about driving by a local top shop to see if they had any trucks for getting the zipper back in line?

I sold my factory soft top on a Facebook for sale group for 500.00 and turned around and bought the NX off Amazon for 650-700.00 I think. Well worth it

I like the Trek Top. I'm going with Quadratecs Adventure Top S. It's some what cheaper. And based on the reviews it's getting and the quality of Quadratecs products. Not to mention I get a discount. Im going with that top. Ill post a review when I install it. Should be this weekend for any one considering their top.
